Do-it-yourself humidifier from a plastic bottle. Water tanks. How to use the instrument

How to humidify a room without a humidifier? Our "Kulibins" from "homemade" solved this problem by several methods at once, without spending a lot of money. Several very simple and interesting ways we would like to offer you for review.

Increasing the level of humidity in a room without the use of climate technology is actually very possible, the main thing is to be smart.

Simple options for humidifying the air in your home

  • The simplest humidifier: hang a wet towel on the battery. The battery heats the fabric and the moisture evaporates.

Advantages are obvious

It does not require electricity, and does not require anything at all, except for a piece of cloth or a towel.

The disadvantages are also huge.

humidifies the room directly near the place of evaporation of moisture, requires constant "recharging" and very little efficiency of this method.

  • Complicated option. A towel with one end should be lowered into a basin of water, and the other end should be hung on the battery. The water will soak the fabric and gradually evaporate on the battery.

Advantages are obvious

Automated humidifier that does not require investment.

Disadvantages of the method

The low efficiency of the method, although automation through a basin of water increases the level of humidity near the battery quite noticeably.

If such solutions seem to you not aesthetic and not effective, then you can always familiarize yourself with

This process is not the easiest and will require certain tools and supplies from you. parts. To make it you will need:

  1. plastic rectangular container for storage food products with a lid, liters for 5-7.
  2. Used CDs, the more the better.
  3. Plastic. You can use any plastic trim, the same thickness. Each piece must measure at least 5 cm by 5 cm.
  4. Two pieces of thin plastic tube. The diameter must be selected empirically.
  5. Choose a gear from a children's toy empirically
  6. Electric motor from an old tape recorder.
  7. Fan

The main tool you will need is a glue gun.

A homemade humidifier-purifier is done like this:

  1. Take CDs. The central hole of the disc is sealed on both sides with pieces of plastic using a glue gun. It is better to make them round and the same.
  2. After that, make through holes in them for a thin plastic tube. The plastic tube should have a size slightly larger than the width of the container.
  3. The next step will be to put all the disks as close to each other as possible and fix them glue gun. The resulting workpiece should resemble the inside of an air washer.
  4. We make 1 hole in opposite sides of the container and insert the blank with disks across it. On one side, you need to glue the washer with a glue gun so that the workpiece does not pop out.
  5. On the other hand, to the protruding end of the plastic tube, using a gun, we glue a large gear.
  6. We fix the electric motor with a small gear so that it engages and can rotate the inside with CDs inside the container.
  7. In the lid of the container we make a hole for the fan and several holes so that moist and purified air comes out of them.

It remains only to fill in the water, plug the device into the network and enjoy the fruits of your own labor.

Do-it-yourself ultrasonic humidifier

Do-it-yourself ultrasonic humidifier, its scheme is as follows. A piezoelectric emitter will be lowered into a container with water on a special float mechanism, which will produce “cold steam”. The fan will supply air inside, which will push the steam out of the tank.

  1. As a container, it is best to take a plastic bottle.
  2. Fan with power supply
  3. Ultrasonic emitter. In Chinese online stores, it is called Mist Maker or fog maker, and costs about 4-5 USD.

Starting assembly ultrasonic humidifier with your own hands.

Step 1. Cut a hole in the bottle for the fan

The level of humidity is one of the most important indicators of the microclimate. Dry indoor air can cause poor health and even health problems. How to increase the humidity in the apartment, if you don’t want to spend money on expensive equipment? There are ways - you can either make a humidifier with your own hands, or use improvised means.

Are you tired quickly? Allergy haunted? Are you sick often? Perhaps dry air is to blame. Low humidity- especially in winter period- becomes a problem in many homes and leads to negative consequences.

To humidify the room, it is absolutely not necessary to buy expensive devices. However, do not think that a basin of water in the middle of the room will solve the problem of low humidity once and for all: alternative ways are not as effective as, so they can only be considered a temporary measure.

Why you need to humidify the air in the apartment

Keeping an eye on the humidity level is a must. But what is harmful dry air in the apartment?
Why do you need a humidifier in the apartment - at least homemade?

  • Dry air causes a sore throat, cough, dries the mucous membranes of the nose and eyes; eye problems are especially relevant for those who use lenses.
  • Air with low humidity and high dust content is especially dangerous for children, asthmatics and allergy sufferers. In addition, the risk of allergies increases in healthy people.
  • With a lack of moisture, fatigue often increases, drowsiness, sometimes even occurs.
  • Hair and nails become more brittle and faded, and the skin dries out.
  • In dry, warm air, bacteria and viruses tend to multiply faster, and hence the risk of disease increases.
  • Dry air negatively affects not only humans. From lack of moisture, they stop growing or dry out. houseplants, deteriorate faster wooden furniture, windows, doors, musical instruments etc.

The list is impressive. However, there are too many consequences, so it is better to observe the golden mean.

To make the apartment comfortable, it is necessary to maintain a humidity level of 40-60%. About, for example, in a nursery or office, you can also read on our blog.

indoors in a number of ways. If you don't have on hand special devices, you can use folk ways. Of course, it is impossible to determine the exact figure, but if the room needs to be humidified, you will definitely know about it.

  1. Pour water into a bottle.
  2. Put it in the refrigerator for several hours.
  3. Remove the container and leave it in the room for five minutes. The walls of the bottle will quickly become covered with condensate.
  4. If after five minutes the drops on the bottle are almost dry, then the air in the room is very dry. When excessive high humidity drops will turn into a small puddle. If the drops slowly slide along it, then the humidity is normal.

A spruce cone will also help measure the level of humidity. A fully opened cone indicates low humidity; if the scales of the cone are only slightly open or tightly pressed against each other, then there is no problem with moisture.

To find out the exact moisture content of the air, you will need hygrometer. The main thing is to put it away from batteries and other heating appliances: so you get the most reliable information.

If you want to know not only the level of air humidity, but also other indicators of the microclimate (for example, temperature and content in the air carbon dioxide), then you should pay attention to the smart microclimate system. It allows not only to monitor the characteristics of the air in the house, but also to automatically control the climate control equipment.

The most common advice for humidifying the air in an apartment is to put wet towels to the battery. But the towels will often have to be moistened, which is not very convenient. more elegant and creative solution There will be special humidifiers for the heating battery.

These humidifiers are a container into which water is poured. The vessel is hung on the battery, and the water in it gradually evaporates, filling the room with moisture. Humidifiers come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are made from ceramic, plastic, steel, and other materials.

Judging by the reviews, the most popular option is a ceramic humidifier. True, its evaporation area is small, so it is better to hang two or three devices on radiators. Ceramic humidifiers are inexpensive, their fasteners are usually reliable, and the variety of shapes, colors and decorative paintings will make it easy to choose a copy that matches your interior.

Rigid tap water can spoil appearance container walls. Therefore, before pouring water, it is worth filtering it.

1. You can make a battery humidifier with your own hands:

  • The main thing is to choose a product from a material that does not melt when high temperature. Suitable ceramic vases or bottles, dishes made of heat-resistant plastic, etc. Can do home humidifier and from plastic bottle, but then you have to forget about the aesthetic side.
  • It is necessary to make a hole in the container and stretch a reliable fastener into it. Strong wire is fine.
  • The final look of a homemade humidifier is entirely up to you! You can paint it with paints, make an applique, cover it with a beautiful fabric.
  • To fill the room not only with moisture, but also with a pleasant smell, you can add a couple of drops to the water essential oil with your favorite scent.

2. The easiest way to humidify the air at home is take a spray bottle and spray water around the room or put a water tank in front of a fan. You can also put a pot or an ajar kettle with boiling water in the room. But you should not abuse this method: hot steam has a bad effect on the durability of wallpaper and furniture.

3. The next method is similar to the previous one, only it turns into a humidifier kitchen stove. Place a pot or other container of water on the stove and boil over low heat. Add cinnamon sticks, lavender, orange or apple peels to keep your home fresh. nice smell. Remember to make sure the water doesn't boil away.

4. The bathroom is known to be the source of the highest humidity in the house. Leave the bathroom door open after taking a shower is an easy way to add a little extra moisture to the air.

5. Not sure how to deal with low humidity? Clean up your entire wardrobe! You will effortlessly fill the air with moisture if you dry your clothes on the radiator or next to it. So you will kill two birds with one stone: things will dry faster, and the humidity will increase.

Basically, a hydrogel is decorative ground, which is used in floriculture, but it will also work for humidifying the air. Instead of placing basins and pots around the house, you can put hydrogel in the form of colored balls in beautiful glassware. Under the influence of moisture, they increase in size several times and gradually release moisture to the air in the room.

Do not forget to add water to the container with balls from time to time so that the evaporation process does not stop.

The microclimate in your home can improve a little if you arrange a small home garden. , a moot point, but some specimens can help in moisturizing: plants need little water from the ground, 99% of moisture evaporates through leaves, flowers and stems.

You should choose moisture-loving plants that need regular watering or spraying, such as ficuses, ferns (for example, nephrolepis is a type of fern), hibiscus, dracaena, etc. And do not turn the mini-garden into a jungle - a few plants that complement the interior will be enough.

Any container with water can become a humidifier, since water tends to gradually evaporate. Aquarium - the same container with water. You need to choose outdoor aquarium without a lid - closed models are not suitable for our task. The only drawback is that the aquarium and the fish in it must be constantly looked after.

The characteristics of indoor air determine the health status of its occupants. Therefore, sufficient hydration is necessary, which can be achieved with the help of special device. It is not cheap, but if desired, it is made at home. To humidify the air in the apartment with your own hands is real, the main thing is to choose a simple design.

How to make a humidifier at home

Fast way to achieve the desired humidity in the room - hang a damp towel on the door, which is regularly changed as it dries. For an apartment and especially a children's room, this great option do-it-yourself humidification, but troublesome and costly in terms of water consumption. Better to do homemade humidifier airbattery operated or mains powered. So it will last longer, and it will bring much less trouble during operation. There are many videos and photos on the Internet that can be used to design the necessary model, but for the first time it is better to enlist the help of a specialist.

Do-it-yourself humidifier scheme

Structurally, such a device consists of three blocks, each of which has its own unique purpose. For example, the evaporator block resembles an incubator, but is a water tank, an outlet pipe and a fan. The electronic unit consists of sensors, a transistor switch, a microcontroller. The last component of the unit is necessary to supply voltageto the air humidification scheme, and its main parameters are as follows: 220 V - at the input, 12 V - at the output with a load on the 3A network.

The output voltage of 12V is optimal for starting and uninterrupted operation electronics. Maximum permissible load- 3A, with large parameters it will constantly “knock out traffic jams” of the lighting panel.Humidifier power supplydo-it-yourself turns on a stabilizer that receives voltage, reduces it, gives out at the output desired value to enable the electronic circuit to work. It is appropriate to buy a stabilizer L7805, while using additional output at 5V. For household purposes, this a good option, however, to implement it with your own hands, you need a scheme.

Homemade Humidifier

To achieve the required humidity indicator, it is not at all necessary to purchase expensive equipment from stores; you can make an air humidifier at home with your own hands. Such a budget option works no less efficiently, but its manufacture takes time, ingenuity, patience and endurance.DIY homemade humidifierreleases portions humid air, which is enough to create favorable climatic conditions rooms, living quarters. To maintain humidity, you can choose one of the devices below.

Do-it-yourself bottle humidifier

This is room option, which is not visible on the battery near the window.DIY home humidifiereven a teenager will make a plastic bottle, you must follow the prescribed instructions. The proposed method is often used by young parents when providing favorable conditions life for a newborn. The sequence of actions is as follows:

  1. Take a plastic bottle and cut a “window” in it with scissors measuring 15 by 20 cm on the side wall.
  2. Hang the container on the battery on the bandage ribbons so that the hand-made “window” is on top. It is important to thread the gauze through the holes in such a way that it is regularly saturated with moisture.
  3. To increase the humidity of the room, it is necessary to constantly add liquid to the plastic tank, which gradually evaporates from the heat of the battery. Soon this rule will become a habit.
  4. Enjoy an unlimited time slot. At the same time, do not forget to pour settled water into a plastic bottle, while the battery radiators must maintain heat.
  5. Install this on the battery homemade device so that small children, as they grow up, cannot reach it and use it for other purposes.

Humidifier on the battery

If the option with a plastic bottle is not suitable, another method is known for getting rid of dry air, its sufficient humidification in a small living room. You can use a ceramic cup or vase, fill it with water and put it on a radiator to warm up. In this way, you can create a favorable atmosphere of humidity in the apartment, but not in the office. The original ceramic container can be hung, making it an appropriate element of decor.

Homemade battery humidifierheating is distinguished by its compactness and safe liquid evaporation temperature. There are no noises during operation, unlike disk models, it is not required to comply with the conditions when choosing water quality. It is allowed to add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the composition. On the industrial enterprises more powerful appliances for air humidification, homemade products are not suitable. Otherwise harmful substances negatively affect health.

Do-it-yourself ultrasonic humidifier

Such a device cannot be created from improvised materials; additional details are required. You can buy them in a specialized store, or disassemble unnecessary household appliances that have already stopped working. To combat the increased dryness of the air and raise its humidity index, you need to act in the given sequence:

  1. Prepare an ultrasonic transducer, a plastic container of 10 liters, a cooler from a computer, a power supply, plastic cup, aluminum corner, corrugation, plastic cup and stabilizer.
  2. Run in plastic container several holes so that they fit the fan mount, the converter wire, the output wire. Install the corrugation directly after mounting the fan itself.
  3. Insert a donut from a toy pyramid, suitable in size, into a plastic glass, fix a piece of fabric on top with an elastic band. This is a kind of filter, it remains only to bring in homemade scheme power supply and ultrasonic transducer.
  4. Do-it-yourself ultrasonic humidifierworks on the basis of the piezoelectric effect, so it is not necessary to use an additional liquid to evaporate moist air. Steam is produced without the participation of the electrolysis process.

  1. Cut off a piece of dense fabric, and then carefully wrap it to metal pipe so as to limit the escape of dry air.
  2. Hang the pipe to the height of the floor lamp in such a way that it is opposite a working floor-type fan.
  3. It remains only to moisten the fabric and turn on the fan, increase the air flow. In this way, a purified and humidified air flow enters the living room through the pipe.
  4. It is necessary to control the moisture content of the material in order to homemade unit did not work in vain, otherwise dry air will reappear.

Many ordinary people, in order not to spoil the aesthetics of the interior, are keenly interested in how to replace the humidifier at home, and whether this is possible. Not everyone can make a structure with their own hands, so they are in search worthy alternative. Alternatively, you can decorate the room with an artificial fountain, put an aquarium with fish or a flower on the windowsill. You can make other models of home humidifiers with your own hands.

The well-being of a person often depends on numerous factors, including the humidity of the air in the room. Moisture index atmospheric air, acceptable for human life, is approximately from 50 to 60%, in winter it drops significantly due to heating appliances. Dry air is dangerous for several reasons:

  • the mucous membrane of the eyes dries, which can lead to conjunctivitis;
  • the nasopharynx dries up - leads to respiratory diseases;
  • dry mouth and throat reduce resistance to various inflammatory diseases;
  • the content of dust increases, which causes allergic reactions.

It is very important for the home to normal humidity air was present in recreation areas, since during sleep a person is more vulnerable to diseases.

Homemade humidifier will improve well-being and protect health

Simple options for humidifying the air at home

It is not always possible to buy or interrogate men to make a humidifier in the house with their own hands from plastic tableware. Therefore, a few recommendations for women on how to assemble a simple do-it-yourself humidifier:

  • put a container of water near the battery, lower the edge of the wet towel into the water tank, and spread the rest of the canvas over the heater;
  • install a container on the battery and periodically add water to it, it is desirable that the container is metal, and the moisturizing effect is achieved;
  • put glassware, such as an aquarium, a vase or a simple jar, lower an ordinary aquarium compressor into it and put a small fan next to it, better cooler computer. For an aesthetic appearance of this humidifier, you can put in a transparent dish glass pebbles and plastic figurines, they will imitate ikebana.

An elementary way is to start a large aquarium with all the equipment, although it is simple, but not cheap.

DIY humidifiers, step by step instructions

Why buy expensive equipment when with the help of the simplest items and a little ingenuity you can make a household homemade humidifier. The scheme of the humidifier is simple, the main thing is to choose suitable container and attach it to the heater. It is not always possible to find the funds to purchase a factory-made vaporizer, and a plastic bottle is almost always at hand. Consider the simplest ways to make a humidifier with your own hands:

  1. Air humidifier from a plastic bottle. Any bottle of mineral water, lemonade, etc. will do:

  • in the body of the bottle, an arbitrary-shaped hole is cut out with a width of not more than 2 cm;
  • with the help of ropes, adhesive tape or ribbons, the bottle is suspended from the upper pipe of the radiator with a gap of 3-5 cm, so that it does not turn over;
  • done with gauze or bandage thick wick, the gauze is twisted into a strip, and the bandage is folded into several layers about 1 m long;
  • one end of the bundle is lowered into the slot, the other is wound around the battery, for more effective work humidifier from a plastic bottle with your own hands, you need to put 2 harnesses and breed them in different sides. Then the evaporation area will increase;
  • pour water into the container and add as needed.

The disadvantage is that a humidifier from a bottle is a device of local action, that is, air humidification in an apartment occurs within a radius of no more than 3 m.

  1. Homemade mechanical humidifier from a plastic bottle. Necessary:
  • take a bottle with a capacity of 5 liters. and cut a hole in it for a cooler from a computer;
  • fix the cooler with adhesive tape so that it does not fall inside the container;
  • connect the fan using the power supply from the phone, and the humidifier is ready for use.

  1. Do-it-yourself ultrasonic humidifier is more difficult to assemble, but more efficient. Small costs and the following elements will be required:
  • ultrasonic steam generator;
  • container or bottle 5–7 liters;
  • plastic disposable cup;
  • ring from a children's pyramid;
  • corrugated tube of small diameter;
  • power supply converter and fan from the computer.

Assembly steps:

  • holes are made in the lid: for cooler fasteners, laying wires from the steam generator and arranging corrugated hose or tubes;
  • the fan and the tube are mounted on the cover on opposite sides;
  • a hole is made at the bottom of the glass and with outer side a piece of cloth is stretched to filter the water;
  • a steam generator is placed inside the glass and tightly closed with a toy ring. The cord from it is brought out through the hole of the ring; we connect the current converter to the cooler and the steam generator, pour water into the container, lower the glass and close the lid tightly.

The principle of operation of such a humidifier with your own hands is very simple. The ultrasonic device forms water vapor, and with the help of a cooler and a tube, they come out. The ring from the toy plays the role of a float so that the steam generator stands on required level. It is advisable to fill the water into the ultrasonic steam generator with purified water in order to prevent white coating on furniture. Instead of a toy ring, you can use a piece of Styrofoam to attach an ultrasonic humidifier, cut a hole in it and insert a cup into it.

  1. A simple humidifier from a bucket and expanded clay. To assemble a homemade humidifier you will need: four waste baskets, different diameter; fan from the computer; a bucket of about 12-15 liters, so that it includes a large basket.

Assembly step by step:

  • baskets of the same diameter are placed on top of each other and fastened together with a hair dryer or plastic fasteners. And first, smaller diameters are connected, and then baskets with a larger diameter are assembled around them. Thus, a two-case construction of the thermos type is obtained with containers built into each other;
  • in the upper outer part, a hole is cut out for filling expanded clay. The diameter of the crumbs to be poured must be larger than the holes in the baskets;
  • an aquarium pump is installed at the bottom of the bucket. Tubes from it are thrown to the top of the structure, ending with a ring with holes through which water, flowing around the entire perimeter, wets the expanded clay and drains back into the bucket;
  • the cooler is installed at the top of the humidifier and blows air into the interior. Through the holes in the baskets, passing through the wet expanded clay, enriched with water vapor, it comes out.

Expanded clay for a humidifier must be thoroughly rinsed before backfilling warm water, it performs not only the function of a moisture accumulator, but also a filter. Since the room air passing through it leaves microparticles of dust and dirt on the surface.

It is not difficult to assemble a homemade air humidifier with your own hands, but in addition to elementary humidification, you can achieve cleansing in the premises and assemble a sink.

Instructions for making an air purifier

Dust particles and bacteria in the air are not noticeable, and even a constant wet cleaning unable to remove them. Factory-made air washers are very expensive and not everyone can afford. It is possible to make a humidifier-air purifier with your own hands using improvised materials. For example, how you can use old disks:

  • the surface of the discs must be sanded, the gloss removed, plastic pieces soldered to the edges;
  • put prepared disks on a tube with a diameter of 15 mm, alternating with plastic washers 3 mm thick;
  • in rectangular shape install several coolers from the computer to draw in air;
  • install a shaft with disks and connect a small toy motor to it;
  • install a fan in the lid of the container to extract humidified air;
  • fill with water, so that it does not reach the coolers and plug it into the network.

An air purifier assembled in this way at home can be used not only in houses and apartments, but also in other utility rooms.

For poultry entrepreneurs, it is easier to assemble a humidifier for an incubator with your own hands than to buy expensive factory equipment. Humidity and purity of air in such rooms are very important for a young brood.

Air Dryer

Important for general well-being has moisture content in the air. There are production facilities and premises where the level of humidity exceeds allowable norms and have to dry the room. It is easier to make a dehumidifier with your own hands than to buy a ready-made one. This will require an old freezer. Air dehumidification occurs due to its condensation. Therefore, surfaces are needed on which moisture settles and collects:

  • a sheet of plexiglass the size of the freezer door is installed in an open opening;
  • a hole is cut out on the glass, and a fan is installed so that it sucks air from the room;
  • holes are drilled in the upper part of the glass for the outlet of treated air;
  • a condensate drain pipe is installed in the lower corner.

The structure is ready for operation. Due negative temperature on the walls freezer moisture in the atmosphere is attracted to them. The air dried in this way is vented to the outside. This device can reduce humidity up to 10%. It must be taken into account that the air at the outlet has a lower temperature.

Having considered various ways changes in air humidity, it can be concluded that for own health no need to run to the store and spend exorbitant funds. You can, having thought over how to make a humidifier yourself, and, having picked up everything you need, assemble the device. By measuring the humidity in the room, own hands further humidification, dehumidification and purification.

Natural and familiar things in everyday life, the presence of which goes without saying, sometimes deserve more attention than air conditioners and complex systems climate control. What could be more important clean air and clean water in home! However, not everyone and not always pay due attention to this, despite the demanding attitude to food and the environmental friendliness of our housing. Let's talk about the humidity in the house, how it affects our health and the devices that can put the microclimate in order.

Benefits of a humidifier

The air that we breathe on the street, or rather, the gas-air mixture, does not hold water. Even a healthy person cannot always withstand low atmospheric humidity. This is manifested not only in the deterioration of well-being, but also in drowsiness, drying of mucous membranes, lowering the level of skin moisture with all the ensuing consequences.

Not to mention the number of pathogenic bacteria that can feel comfortable in dry and warm air, heating season can bring many unpleasant surprises to our body. In winter, even sitting at home and not going out for weeks, you can easily pick up a chronic runny nose, flu, shortness of breath may appear out of the blue. It's only because of low humidity. Therefore, it is not in vain that someone came up with good thing- humidifier.

What is the best humidifier

There are many models of air humidifiers from leading companies specializing in household appliances. You can easily go to the store and buy good humidifier with a bunch of built-in options, from alarm clocks to photo frames, but we are not in a hurry to give a round sum for a branded device, since there is always the opportunity to make do-it-yourself humidifiers on a battery.

To begin with, it is worth looking through the types of humidifiers and choosing the right one, and then we will definitely find a way to implement it ourselves. At least we will not lose anything, but we will make sure that the device is needed in the apartment. It is necessary, because the normal humidity for the body is 40-60%. This indicator can be quite achieved using a do-it-yourself device.

The principle of operation of humidifiers

Device - loudly said, since we will not build an ionizer-humidifier or an ultrasonic device at home. To do this, you already need to go to the store and spend money on an experiment, but in general you can find several types of devices there:

  1. Humidifiers operating on the cold principle. Enough simple devices, which consume a minimum of electricity (from 30 to 50 W) and can be useful for regulating air humidity in small spaces. Depending on the complexity of the device, their price also changes.
  2. Heating humidifiers. Evaporation. Such devices are built on its principle, and we will build such a device with our own hands. Only branded humidifiers use electricity for this, from 300 to 800 W, and we will be smarter.
  3. ultrasonic devices. At home, it is quite difficult to make a thin membrane mechanism that would spray water nanoparticles in the air, but there are such devices, their price is high, and in the course of work they leave marks on furniture in the form lime deposits, if you do not buy a humidifier filter with them, which will be even more expensive.

In the photo of air humidifiers that you can do with your own hands, the principle of operation of the device is quite clear. In any case, we are creating a heating type device, the heat source of which will be a central heating battery.

We build the device ourselves!

The simplest device that even a third-grader can make during the breaks between labor lessons is an air humidifier from plastic bottles. To do this, you will need two bottles of one and a half liters, a piece of gauze fabric or an old towel and a knitting or copper wire. Actually, this is the whole set, thanks to which you can improve the microclimate in the house. The device is assembled like this:

  • we bend two hooks from the wire so that they can be hung from the heating pipe and
  • hold on the weight of the bottle;
  • a piece of fabric is wrapped with a snake around the pipe;
  • the bottles will be filled with water up to half;
  • the ends of the fabric are tucked into both bottles, while the distance between the bottles is about half a meter.

The simplest device is ready, but while we were squeezing the fabric into the neck, it had already begun to work. And here is a similar scheme, only with one bottle.

For lovers of arts and crafts, ceramic battery humidifiers are offered, which, if desired, can also be made by hand if you have experience in working with ceramics. Although a ceramic container can be replaced by something less aesthetic, but no less efficient. But in principle, such a humidifier will give odds to many devices that can be bought for money:

In the end, such a device can always be abandoned, but if it is skillfully made and fits nicely into the interior, then we already win. Fresh air and a favorable microclimate in the apartment!
