Useful crafts from a plastic bottle. Crafts from plastic bottles - elegant simplicity. Step-by-step instructions for execution

The amount of garbage that each person "produces" is growing year by year. The problem is becoming global, as flying plastic bags and plastic bottles lying everywhere have already pricked everyone's eyes. I am burning, it turns out, you can help, and even for the benefit of yourself. In any case, this applies to plastic bottles. You will be surprised how diverse and, importantly, useful crafts from plastic bottles can be done in just minutes. Well, or hours ... Depends on the scale.

The buildings

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a thermoplastic from which bottles are made. It will be useful to know its physical properties:

  • density - 1.38-1.4 g / cm³,
  • softening temperature (t dim.) - 245 ° C,
  • melting point (t pl.) - 260 ° C,
  • glass transition temperature (t st.) - 70 ° C,
  • decomposition temperature - 350 °C.

Plastic bottles are very convenient to use, but harmful to the environment, since the polyethylene from which they are made decomposes for more than 200 years. The same property makes it possible to use almost waste raw materials as construction material. Craftsmen are already building houses from plastic bottles, as well as sheds, dachas, greenhouses, greenhouses, fences. Various technologies have been worked out - the approach is quite serious.

How to build a house out of plastic bottles

The main idea is to pour bulk material into bottles, screw them with caps and use them like bricks. Fill the bottles with sand, soil. Sand is preferable, as there is too much plant debris in the soil that can rot. It must be sifted, dried, bottled, well compacted, topped up even to the very top. Get kind of bricks.

To build a house from plastic bottles, you will need a solution that fills the gaps between the "bricks". There are options here too. It can be an ordinary mortar, which is used when laying brick walls, or clay mortar can be made. To keep the “bricks” in the wall until the mortar sets, they are tied with twine from the side of the covers. Later, these "grids" will come in handy when you plaster the walls. They turn out uneven, so alignment is indispensable.

We make a greenhouse, barn, greenhouse

From plastic bottles you can build a greenhouse or greenhouse. In this case, only transparent plastic is used, since it is necessary that the light passes in sufficient quantities. For the construction of a barn, on the contrary, it makes sense to choose darker plastic - it will be less visible what is inside.

The first technology - one to one

The second requirement for bottles as a building material is an even shape. This, you know, without recesses. Otherwise, it will not work to fold the walls so that they retain heat - it will “siphon” into curly cutouts. Remove labels from bottles and dry. It is also necessary to prepare pins or rods - bottles are strung on them. Their diameter is small so that the neck passes freely. Now you can start building a greenhouse / barn from plastic bottles.

For the construction of a greenhouse or a barn, poles are dug in at the corners. Frames are assembled from timber according to the size of the walls. These frames will be the base for the bottle walls. We collect them (frames) on the ground and fasten them to dug-in poles in a ready-made form. When making the frames, don't forget the doorway and windows.

We build a frame, cut off the bottom of the bottles, string them on a pin. From such "columns" we assemble walls, a roof

The construction process begins with cutting the bottom. We string the cut bottles on the pins, directing the necks in one direction. We insert the bottles with force so that they become very tight. Having collected a row of the desired height, we attach it to the frame. You can fasten with clamps, strips cut from metal, nails ... In any way available to you. We press the second row to the first so that there is a slight deformation. We fasten in this position. So, row after row, we collect all the walls, then the roof.

Using the same technology, you can make a gazebo. But there is already no need for tightness, so you can collect figured and colored containers. So it will turn out even more interesting (an example is in the photo).

The second technology - we sew plastic

Bottles will also need to be smooth, transparent or yellow. The central part is cut out of them, getting a square-shaped piece of plastic. Pieces are sewn together in long strips. In the strip, the pieces are arranged so that they are twisted in one direction. Then the strips are sewn into canvases. To make the canvas even, the strips are arranged so that they are twisted in different sides. As a result, they equalize each other. Finished canvases are nailed to the frame. On this building their greenhouses plastic bottles finished.

Such a plan "sheathing" for greenhouses perfectly tolerates winters, it does not need to be removed. Due to the firmware (many small holes), there is no absolute tightness, which allows you to adjust the humidity. You won’t be able to heat such a greenhouse, but it will push autumn back to you, and it will speed up the arrival of spring.

You can sew plastic for the greenhouse manually, but it's not easy. It will be easier for those who have non-capricious Sewing machines. The old Podolsk cars cope with this task. Others may have problems.

Fence and fence

How to make a fence out of plastic bottles different ways. If you need a serious monolithic fence, you can use the bottles as bricks. The technology is the same as when building a house. To avoid plaster (after all, there is a high risk that it will collapse) - select the color of the plastic to obtain the necessary rust. But in this case, you will have to look for "building materials" of the same diameter or lay out patterns from different sizes. In general, the creative process, no matter how you look at it.

You can also make filling for the fence from plastic bottles. Make a frame, say, from wood, and come up with a beautiful filling from curly containers and their parts.

Furniture from improvised materials: recycle plastic bottles

From plastic bottles you can make not only a house and a fence, they are also used as the basis for upholstered furniture. The idea is to use plastic containers instead of wood for the frame. With tightly screwed lids, they have a high bearing capacity, and assembled in blocks, it is quite able to withstand a load of up to 100 kg or more.

A bed made of plastic bottles ... needed good mattress, and the base is not too difficult to make

Although the furniture is made differently, general algorithm action is the same:

  • Select "building material" of the same height, tighten the covers well.
  • collect blocks right size, fastening them with tape.
  • Having collected the base of the required shape, sew the cover. For softness, add furniture foam.

The whole trick is that the bottles fit one to the other very tightly and do not move. The slightest play can lead to the destruction of the structure. Therefore, collect the blocks slowly, carefully fixing. You can fold the bottles in layers, securing each layer in several places. For the inner layers, it is better to use double-sided tape - the fixation will be more reliable.

Ottomans / banquettes

The easiest way is to make an ottoman or a bench out of plastic bottles. We act in the order described above. It is necessary to find bottles of the same height. It is better if they are of the same shape - it is easier to collect. From plastic containers with tightly screwed lids, we assemble the base in the form of a cylinder. It is desirable that the radius of the base be greater than the height of the bottles - so the bench will not turn over.

Next, you need to cut out two circles from fiberboard, which will be slightly larger than the resulting base radius - this is the “bottom” and the base of the seat. We fix them with tape. We take furniture foam rubber and, according to the dimensions obtained, cut out the necessary spare parts. We sew a cover from upholstery fabric color that matches the interior.

Such a bench can be not only round. It is quite possible to make a square. And so that this furniture is not too light, it can be weighted by pouring water. But water is not a very reliable business. It is better to pour sand. Heavier and more reliable.

Sofas, chairs, armchairs

If you need furniture of greater height than one bottle, proceed as when creating walls for a house. Find "material" of the same shape and height. The first bottle is left intact, the cork is screwed tightly (you can pour sand so that it does not turn over). The bottom of the other is cut off, put one on top of the other. The bottle goes a certain distance and does not move any further, no matter how hard you try. If the resulting height is enough - great, if not - put on the next one. In this way, collect the rows of the desired height, then fasten them into blocks.

There is another way. It is more reliable in the sense that the bottles are held not by compressed air, but by a mechanical stop. And the walls in them are double, which is also important. Minus - more work, more raw materials are needed. The whole process in a step by step illustration.

  1. We take a bottle, cut it approximately in the middle of the height (the upper part with the neck is smaller).
  2. The upper part of the neck (the lid is screwed on) is inserted all the way into the bottom.
  3. We take a whole one, of the same size and shape, insert it upside down into the prepared structure.
  4. We cut the third one in about half and put the lower part on top (with a lid).

From such modules we assemble blocks of the desired configuration, fastening them with adhesive tape. Don't feel sorry for the scotch. You can first fasten two bottles, then assemble large blocks from double ones.

As you understand, with this technology, there are a lot of tops from bottles (half of the third bottle). They can be used to make other crafts from plastic bottles: flowers, more practical household items.

Flower making methods

The most common plastic bottle crafts are garden figurines and flowers. Pro garden figurines read There are others interesting ideas, but many interesting little animals and insects have been collected. And we will tell about flowers from plastic bottles below - these are probably those crafts from plastic bottles that give the most pleasure. The process is simple, the possibilities are many, the result is amazing.

You have probably noticed that the bottom of a PET bottle looks like a flower. All you need to do is find a bottle of a beautiful color, cut off the bottom of it. Now you already have a pretty flower. In the middle, you can add petals cut from the central part, a core from a plastic strip cut with noodles, or glue beads inside, but a little more about everything.

Using the power of fire

To work, you will need a marker, a lighter or a candle (it is more convenient with a candle). If available, take pliers, tweezers or pliers - hold the workpiece during processing. You will also need acrylic paints, you may need glue and beads. The whole manufacturing process comes down to several steps:

There are a lot of options here. Just start doing. Right away, it may not work out perfectly, but you will understand what and how can be corrected. See a few more pictures with step-by-step photos of the process of making flowers from plastic bottles.

The simplest

For beginner needleworkers, you can try making flowers from plastic bottles of simple shapes to decorate the garden. In this case, milk containers can also be used. In order not to paint plastic, look for colored ones. It doesn't matter if they are transparent or not. They can be combined, getting flowers of different shapes.

To create such flowers, use the part near the neck. It is cut to form petals. Next - warm up a little, giving the desired bend to the petals, a little paint, a core of a melted piece with a thread (a bottle of a smaller diameter, a pharmacy will do). Here is the buttercup.

Another option is to cut from the neck into strips of equal width - 1-1.5 cm, bend them (warming up a little at the base). Make the middle whisk from the side of a milk bottle or paint the transparent plastic with acrylic paint.

The middle is any bright. Here is a piece of cork, but you can cut it into thin noodles, twist it into a roll and then heat it. Get a fluffy core.

It's all about the shape ... Despite the imperfection, they decorate the site

The topic is really inexhaustible. Flowers from plastic bottles are made in a variety of ways. From simple and uncomplicated to very realistic. It's not so much about skill, but about different tastes and desires.

Useful ideas for the home

PET containers turned out to be so good stuff that they do a lot of useful things. In this section, we have collected useful crafts from plastic bottles that can be used on the farm.

For the kitchen and beyond

If you cut off the bottom of a bottle with a capacity of 2-3 liters, you get a bowl or a bowl, and so that its edges are even, they can be melted on a heated iron. But so that the sole does not have to be cleaned later, use a special silicone pad. If not, you can do it through a sheet of parchment for baking.

Product container. Plastic is food grade...

From the same bottle we cut off the threaded part. 1-2 cm of plastic should remain around the thread (the edges are melted using already known technology). Now it will not be difficult to hermetically close any package: we pass it through the cut off neck, wrap it outward, twist the lid.

From the bottom of the bottles attached to the bar, you get a great newspaper shelf (photo on the right). You can also store umbrellas.

From plastic cut into strips, you can weave different shapes of containers. Bottles need an even shape, with thick walls. They are cut into strips of a certain thickness. It is necessary to cut in a spiral - as a result, rather long strips are obtained. If their length is not enough, they sew perfectly.

Lampshades

You can even make a lampshade, but on one condition: you will use similar crafts from plastic bottles in co lamps - only they almost do not heat up. Plastic is incompatible with other lamps. We will describe three ways to make a lampshade from a plastic bottle.

The first. You need a large bottle. We draw it into strips of the same width. At the beginning and at the end of each strip, we make holes with a heated soldering iron or a nail heated on fire. We insert scissors into this hole, cut. Get even stripes.

When the strips are cut, we also make a hole in the bottom, pass a thick fishing line through the neck, bring it out through the hole in the bottom, with reverse side attach decor. You can - a button, you can - a pebble suitable color. Now, pulling the fishing line, we get an interesting shape of a lampshade. You can put a light bulb in it.

Another lampshade was made using a similar technology. But then they cut a part of the bottle with a neck into strips, wrapped the strips and fixed them on the neck. To give the desired shape, the place of the fold can be warmed up a little over the flame of a candle or lighter. The resulting "flowers" are attached to the base. Here we get an unusual design.

They also make lampshades from bottoms. You need to find a sufficient number of identical bottles, cut off their bottom, glue them together using universal glue (choose transparent). The main thing is that it glues plastic and quickly hardens.

flower vases

Making a vase from a plastic bottle - what could be easier ... Just cut off the neck and you're done. But there is a technique that allows you to get patterned walls. You will need a soldering iron with the thinnest tip. Its power should not be too high. Then everything is simple: with the help of a heated sting, you burn out the patterns.

Magically! To make the picture appear brighter, we take acrylic paint and paint the resulting beauty. The paint can be in an ordinary can, but it is faster and more convenient to work with a spray can.

Here are the options...

Photo Ideas

Crafts from plastic bottles are such a vast topic that it is impossible to talk about everything. What is nice, knowing a few tricks, you can easily find out how and what to do by looking only at the photos. So here we put together a few ideas that we found interesting.

You can even make a boat ....

And it's just a decoration ....

Rational use trend household waste has become more and more popular lately, especially plastic containers. From plastic bottles, you can do with your own hands almost the entire country interior and more. One of the main advantages of this material is its long service life, besides it is very elastic. Do not forget that plastic bottles - available material, which is always available for every owner or hostess.

Cheap and cheerful - we make flower beds from bottles

The plastic container is ideal option for, since it has a great advantage over wood and even metal. Wooden fencing on flower beds or flower beds cracks or rots over time under the influence of moisture and the sun. Even metal curbs are susceptible to corrosion and require periodic maintenance, such as regular painting.

But what about plastic? It does not lose its shape and does not collapse for a long time. This means that such a flower bed will last more than one season and even more than one year, moreover, it does not require any maintenance at all. Even if a “breakage” occurs, the desired “element” can always be found in the pantry and easily replaced without resorting to long tedious shopping trips in order to find a suitable fragment.

So, what can you do with plastic bottles with your own hands?

bottle borders

If you need to protect the flower garden, plastic containers of different sizes will do just fine. This will not only limit the space and prevent the growth of perennials, but will also retain moisture and prevent the emergence of weeds.

The shape and size of the flower bed depend only on the imagination of the summer resident: it can be either equilateral or in the form of some animal or plant. Also, bottles can be divided into segments of the flower bed itself.

Even a child can build a bottle border (with the help of adults, of course):

  1. First of all, on the site, you should draw with a sharp object or pour the contours of the flower bed with sand.
  2. Release the bottles from the labels, wash them, pour sand into them and tighten the cap. If this is not available, you can use ordinary land or water. This is necessary for stability, since empty containers will quickly fall out of the fence.
  3. Dig a groove along the outlined contour so that the bottle can be deepened by about 1/3 into it.
  4. Place the filled bottles in the groove with the neck down, as close as possible to each other, and cover with earth.

For a visual effect, you can use bottles of different colors of plastic (green, white, brown).

Some summer residents do without digging in bottles. For example, bottles without a bottom are simply inserted into each other, forming a circle. The finished design can be "put on" on or taken in the ring trunk circle tree. To fix the curb, it must be firmly pressed to the ground with arcs.

Multi-tiered flower bed

If you really want to have a flower garden, and there is a catastrophic lack of space, you can do it yourself from plastic bottles. The principle is the same as for the construction of the curb, only after laying the first tier, it is necessary to fill it with nutrient soil, and only then lay out the next floor.

When planting plants for the lower tier, it is better to choose moisture-loving specimens, since water will flow down when watering.

Mini flower beds

Beautiful and useful crafts for giving can be made from 5-liter plastic bottles. They will serve as miniature and cute flower beds, for example, in the shape of everyone's favorite piglets.

Group compositions in the form of trains with flowers look no less impressive.

And if instead of flowers sow lawn grass, big bottle turns into a cute hedgehog with green spines. It remains only to attach the eyes and nose.

Those who are not afraid of small rodents will like cute mice from small (liter) bottles. They are good for planting petunias.

Flower pots and flowerpots

With a little imagination, plastic bottles can be easily transformed into small decorative pots for flowers or spicy greens. You can make them even or cut them into a marker in the shape of a muzzle. Such flowerpots will look great not only in the garden gazebo, but also in the house on the windowsill.

But if you put a fabric cover on a cropped bottle and attach ropes, you will get elegant planters for a summer veranda.

The easiest way to do hanging pots- this is to cut fragments of the walls on both sides of the bottle, and fasten a harness for hanging under the neck. In such flowerpots, compact undersized plants can be planted.

Making a beautiful garden path

Tracks made of plastic containers are especially popular with summer residents. The strength of such a path depends on the laying method and what part of the plastic container serves as a building material:

Paths made of plastic bottles become very slippery in winter.

Fun playground - decorate a place for children's games

Caring parents always strive to give their children a place to play in the country, where children can pass the time while adults are busy in the garden. Of course, it should be not only safe, but also colorful to please the kids. With the help of plastic bottles, it is easy to decorate the playground by making a variety of different plants and animals. Ordinary paint will help to give them brightness.

In the shade under a palm tree

What is a playground without a sandbox? And where there is sand, a palm tree must “grow”. For a Tropican, you will need green and brown bottles for the trunk and leaves, respectively.

Before proceeding with the assembly, you need to take care of a solid base. For example, fix a metal pin in a concrete screed, and it should be quite long so that the tree turns out high, and children can walk freely under it.

When the base is fixed, you can start "growing" palm trees:

  • cut off half of the bottle (the top with the neck is not needed) and form a jagged edge;
  • make a hole in the center of the bottom, string the blanks onto the base pin, while bending the teeth to the side for a more natural look;
  • cut off the bottom of the green bottle and make straight cuts along the entire contour to the point where the wall goes into the neck (if desired, the branches can be made curly - cut into 4 parts and place cloves on each);
  • string fragments of the branch on the base;
  • firmly attach the finished branches to the top of the stem (by welding or construction harnesses).

If after assembling the palm tree there are still many green bottles left, you can make a small (or large) Christmas tree from them. Remove the bottom from the bottle and cut it into long narrow strips right up to the very neck. Trim the edges of the strips to look like thorns. Thread the leaves onto the base.

Such a Christmas tree will look great on the site in winter, especially under snow, and will also help out on New Year's Eve those who, in a hurry, did not have time to buy a living tree.

Guests from a fairy tale - funny animals

And of course, there must be toys. Often children take their old pets outside. With the help of plastic bottles, you can easily diversify the "zoo", creating real masterpieces - from the fabulous Frog Princess and the Golden Fish to modern cartoon characters.

Take at least a handsome cat, painted in black and white paint. And you can use brown beer bottles, and you get a brown cat, also beautiful.

From the two bottoms of the bottle, form a head (connect them), while the bends on the bottoms will really look like a real head. On one of them, draw eyes, eyebrows and mustaches with white paint, and a neat tongue with red paint. From above, insert cut out small ears. For the body, string the same short cut bottoms onto the base, close the body last. Melt the edges of the bottoms. Walk along the melted contour of the ears and fragments of the body with white paint, and on the front bottom make a white speck on the breast.

Glue the head and legs - the upper parts from bottles with an elongated neck will come in handy for them. Cut them off to the point where the bottle expands, cut the edges with sharp teeth and build legs from 4-5 parts, putting them on the base wire. Screw the corks onto the upper necks, glue the paws to the body with them. For the tail, take a long wire and string the narrowest parts of the neck onto it, but without plugs. To make the tail fluffy, cut the edges into thin strips.

Beautiful animals are also obtained from large 5-liter containers. With the right combination of bottles of different sizes and with the help of bright coloring, you can place a zebra, a horse, a cow, a donkey and even a giraffe on the site.

Flowers for my daughter

In the sandbox, children not only sculpt Easter cakes. Little girls are very fond of flowers and often pick dandelions on the lawn (or in their mother's flower bed) to plant in their sand garden. But you can make a whole greenhouse of flowers out of bottles, while the girls will be happy to take part in the manufacture of the most simple options. Daisies, cornflowers and tulips will decorate the sandbox, especially since young flower growers will be able to repeatedly "transplant" them from garden to garden without harm to plants and mother's nerves.

For flowers you will need:

  • stem wire;
  • flat parts of bottles for cutting leaves from them;
  • necks or bottoms for the most inflorescences;
  • dye.

More complex options can be done by adults. plastic roses or poppies will decorate not only the playground, but also flower beds.

plastic design for garden

From plastic bottles have an extensive scope. So, if small animals and birds look appropriate in flowerbeds and playgrounds, then larger-scale animals can be placed in the garden, among trees and shrubs. They will give the garden a unique look and enliven it.

Amazing Garden Sculptures

Representatives of large birds made of plastic look almost alive. With the help of multi-colored paints, you can achieve amazing realistic effect. To make them, you just need to master the technique of cutting feathers from the sides of bottles and prepare a frame on which they will be fixed.

Very impressive in the garden will look:

In the garden, you can place sculptures not only of birds, but also animals of a large enough size so that they do not get lost against the backdrop of tall trees.

Among the greenery, a bright spot will be a white sheep, which is quite easy to make if there are bottles of 2 liters and several 1.5 liters lying around in the pantry:

  1. Cut off the necks of two 2 liter bottles and put them on top of each other - this will be an elongated head. From the third bottle, cut out long ears, roll them up a little with a tube and attach to the head in the appropriate places with wire (or glue). You can draw eyes or glue two plugs.
  2. For the body, insert the whole neck into the bottle cut off from the top. Make 3 more such blanks and attach them to the first on the sides and top, thus giving the lamb the desired “waist” volume.
  3. A whole two-liter bottle will serve as a neck, which should be fixed on the body at an angle of about 120 degrees so that the cork is on top.
  4. To the neck (on the cork) set the head.
  5. For legs, cut off the top of a two-liter bottle and insert a whole bottle of a smaller volume (1.5 liters) into it. Make three more such blanks and attach the legs to the body with the wide part up.
  6. From the cut bottoms of two-liter bottles, make a fleece, fastening them together, and put on the body. Under the belly, tie the edges of the fur coat.
  7. Paint the sheep with white paint and draw black eyes.

Bird care

Plastic bottles can be used not only for decorative purposes, but also for the benefit of the garden. After all, it is always inhabited by the summer resident's little helpers - a variety of birds that collect pests from trees. In the warm summer, they have something to eat, but in winter it becomes more difficult to get food. That's when the feeders hung around the garden come in handy. And if you involve children in the process, you get a double benefit: for children - an interesting activity and pleasure, and for birds - cozy house with grains.

The simplest can be made from large 5 liter plastic bottles, simply cut out on both sides big holes in the form of an arch.

So that the birds do not injure their paws on the sharp edges of the bottle, they must first be melted or pasted over with electrical tape.

For those who rarely visit their summer cottage in winter, a feeder that fills automatically is useful.

You can make it from a bottle and two wooden spoons:

  • make two holes in the bottle opposite each other, while the second should be slightly lower;
  • unfold the bottle and repeat the procedure on the reverse side;
  • insert spoons into the holes crosswise.

After the bottle is filled with food, it will be poured through the holes into the spoons as they are empty.

A cozy place to relax from improvised means

Not only birds, but also the owners themselves should have their own secluded corner among the greenery, where on warm summer evenings you can enjoy a cup of tea, inhaling the aromas of nature. Many prefer to put in the garden. They are very beautiful, you can’t argue with that, but they require certain financial investments. But from plastic it is cheap and cheerful to make not only a recreation area, but also to completely equip it.

Alcove? Easily!

Arbor - one of the largest crafts for giving from plastic bottles. But plastic gazebo has two big advantages:

  • it is easy to assemble;
  • will last more than one year without damage to the material.

Perhaps the only drawback of the building is the presence a large number bottles that need to be stored somewhere during the collection process.

What the gazebo will look like depends only on the desire of the owner, and, accordingly, on the availability of “building materials”:

Practical curtains in the gazebo

In summer pavilions there is a lot of fresh air, but, unfortunately, also dust. Ordinary tulle requires frequent washing, while a plastic curtain does not collect as much dust, and you can “wash” it without even removing it - just pour it over with water from a hose (of course, if such a curtain does not hang in the house).

For dreamy and romantic hostesses, delicate curtains made from the bottoms of plastic bottles, strung on a base, are suitable.

Energetic people who love bright colors are more suitable for cork curtains, assembled according to the same principle.

garden furniture

A table, ottoman, armchair and even a sofa in the gazebo can also be made from plastic bottles. The old one from the house is also quite suitable for relaxing on fresh air, but she, like the curtains, will eventually become a collection of dust. In addition, it is quite difficult to take a wooden sofa outside, because such furniture is rather bulky and heavy. But rearranging a plastic chair is not difficult.

It is not difficult to assemble furniture - you just need to put the bottles tightly and connect them with adhesive tape, giving the desired shape. For ottomans, knit or sew a cape - from the outside, no one will guess what they are actually made of.

Leatherette covers are more suitable for a sofa.

Unbreakable garden chandeliers

If you plan an evening tea party, you should definitely spend it in the gazebo. To ennoble the light bulb, you can cut the bottle into two parts and make a simple ceiling lamp from the upper half and paint it or paste over it with colored thread.

In plastic chandeliers, it is better to use economical light bulbs - they do not heat up so much and will not melt the material.

In more difficult options chandeliers are assembled from fragments of leaves or flowers cut from colorful bottles.

Garden supplies for gardening

In order for the summer cottage to look beautiful and tidy, it is necessary to take care of it all the time - weed weeds, collect fallen leaves and small debris. This will require tools. Of course, it will not work to make a chopper or a rake out of plastic, but simpler specimens are quite possible.

Craftsmen have long known how to use plastic bottles for their own benefit and savings for family budget. After all, if the scoop suddenly breaks, you no longer have to run to the store for a new one. From household waste that is in every home, you get a lot of useful things at no extra cost:

garden care

From plastic bottles you can make useful things not only for the garden, but also for the garden. It could be like small crafts in the form of, and larger-scale structures such as greenhouses.

Greenhouses for seedlings

Most summer residents grow seedlings of garden crops on their own. Some do it in apartment conditions, but better seedlings are obtained from greenhouses - there is enough heat and light.

You can no longer talk about the cost, but as for durability, plastic bottles will certainly last longer than film shelters or glass structures.

To increase the service life of plastic bottle greenhouses, it is advisable to put them on the foundation, and use a metal profile for the frame.

The simplest version of the greenhouse involves the construction of walls from whole bottles that are put on top of each other.

It will take a little longer to tinker with the greenhouse of the plates, but it will turn out to be warmer. In this case, even parts must be cut out of the bottles and fastened (sewn) together in the form of a canvas. From the finished canvases, mount a greenhouse.

Watering "systems"

For gardeners, watering is no less a pressing issue than the presence of a greenhouse. Instead of ready-made watering systems in the garden, you can use. They must either be suspended above the bush, having previously made holes in the lower part, or dug into the ground.

In addition, the bottle makes a good sprinkler - you just need to make small holes in it and connect it to a watering hose.

Getting rid of pests

A plastic bottle repeller will help drive the summer resident's worst enemy from the site -. He not only plows the beds, digging his tunnels, but also damages in the course of action root system plants, depriving gardeners of the future harvest.

If cut in a bottle side walls, bend them and put the container on a steel bar, with gusts of wind, the bottle will spin and make noise. The sound through the rod will go into the ground and deprive the mole of the desire to manage in this noisy place.

The list of what you can make from a plastic bottle with your own hands is quite long. These are just a few crafts that make life easier for summer residents. Agree - it is better to get the maximum benefit from bottles than to pollute the environment. Take care of nature and work with pleasure!

21 ideas for using plastic bottles - video

Plastic bottles are an affordable and inexpensive material that, in addition to its direct purpose, can be used to decorate a personal plot. From plastic, you can create a lot of decorative and practical elements of landscape design that will be original, strong and durable.

The main task of craftsmen and amateurs to build crafts from improvised means is to collect as many bottles of different sizes and colors as possible, show imagination and bring it to life.

During the summer season, many summer residents accumulate a lot of empty plastic bottles left after picnics. You can send them to a landfill, or you can use them to change the surrounding space and make unusual accessories to decorate the garden.

Recycling plastic bottles for arranging a garden plot has a number of advantages:

  • saving money that would have to be spent on the purchase of finished design products;
  • exclusivity and originality of the created crafts;
  • changing landscape design as soon as possible - working with plastic bottles is very simple and usually it takes from 2 hours to 2 days to make a simple craft;
  • the opportunity to show their design abilities - the finished product will emphasize the creativity and creative potential of the owner of the plot;
  • bottle reuse reduces clogging environment, because, as you know, it will take many years for the complete decomposition of plastic in natural conditions.

On a global scale, an abundance of plastic has been adapted for the construction of floating islands, residential buildings, energy-saving systems and large installations.

On the local scale of the suburban area, plastic bottles have found their application in the creation of:

  • flowerbeds and flower beds;
  • flowerpots and planters;
  • garden gazebos;
  • canopies and hedges;
  • ornaments for a garden and reservoirs;
  • country furniture;
  • lampshades for lamps;
  • garden paths;
  • figurines of animals for playgrounds.

There are many ways to use waste packaging. Consider the most interesting ideas of reincarnations and describe the process of creating DIY crafts from plastic bottles.

Crafts from plastic bottles - original elements of landscape design

creation of flower beds and flower beds

Plastic bottles can be used as a low fence for a flower bed or container in which flowers and garden plants will grow.

For fencing flower beds, the same 1.5-liter bottles are better suited. To make the landscape brighter, it is advisable to paint the plastic containers in yellow, red or blue before installation (green is not recommended, as it will be “lost” against the general background of plants).

Work order:

  1. It is necessary to determine and outline the contours of the future flower bed (they can have the most intricate configuration).
  2. To ensure the strength and stability of the structure, plastic bottles must be filled with sand or earth.
  3. Dig a row of bottles along the perimeter of the flower bed so that there are no gaps between the elements of the fence.

As a result of the work done, a well-groomed and tidy flower bed will turn out.

Large plastic bottles make an excellent flowerpot or flower pot, the main thing in the manufacture is not to forget to make drainage holes in the bottom.

Let's consider step by step the creation of a hedgehog flower bed, in which you can plant a variety of plants: cacti, high lawn grass, perennial dwarf shrubs, and so on.

  1. As a basis, you need to use a 2 or 3 liter plastic bottle. It is cut in half lengthwise. The front part of the container must be wrapped with nylon tights or burlap - this will be the muzzle of a hedgehog.
  2. The fabric is glued or stapled together. From black buttons and a black piece of fabric, you need to make eyes and a nose of a hedgehog, and then sew them to the base.
  3. Make holes for drainage at the bottom of an impromptu flower bed, fill it with earth and plant plants (it is desirable that the shape of the leaves resemble needles).

The result of such creativity will undoubtedly please all visitors to the garden plot, especially children.

The original decoration of the garden will be an "all-season" flower bed, lined with multi-colored plastic bottles.

After placing all the bottles, as shown in the diagram, the flower bed must be given clarity and stones laid out along its contour.

Hanging planters from bottles can be placed near the house, gazebos or throughout the garden.

decorations for artificial reservoirs

The surface of the pond can be decorated with homemade water lilies or non-trivial daisies. Flowers from plastic bottles will add picturesqueness to the pond and attract the attention of beautiful butterflies and dragonflies.

To create water lilies you will need:

  • white plastic bottles yellow color small capacity (1-1.5 liters);
  • plastic bottle of 5 liters;
  • candle;
  • scissors;
  • green paint;
  • glue.

Progress:

  1. From the yellow bottle you need to cut off the neck - this will be the core of the water lily. Make 8 cuts in the neck at the same distance from each other and give each part a rounded shape.
  2. For the manufacture of stamens, we use the rest of the bottle. We cut a strip about 4 cm wide and across, up to half, we make cuts every 0.5 cm.
  3. We turn the blank of stamens and bring it to the flame of a candle (the distance to the fire is about 5 cm). The stamens should curl inward.
  4. We also hold the core over the fire, so that the petals are slightly bent.
  5. We glue the stamens and the core.
  6. From a white bottle we cut out oblong petals of a water lily and fasten them with glue to the neck of a flower.
  7. From the bottom big bottle cut out a leaf for a water lily and color it green.
  8. The flower must be "planted" on a leaf and sent to sail through the pond.

Daisies from plastic bottles will help decorate both the pond itself and the area around it.

You can make a palm tree from plastic bottles and place it near the pond - this will add exotic landscape design.

Bottles with a cut bottom (dark color) are exposed and pressed tightly against each other. The number of bottles used determines the height of the palm tree. A neck from a green bottle is attached to the top of the palm tree, through which five wires (the bases of palm leaves) are made.

Green bottles are strung through the neck on a wire. Green plastic is cut into strips, imitating palm leaves.

Around the pond, you can seat funny frogs that will enliven the landscape of the site and cheer up the guests of the garden.

plastic bottle garden paths

An interesting solution is garden paths for giving from a plastic bottle. Paths can be laid out from whole bottles filled with sand, or from their bottoms.

Bottom paths look neater, but it will take a little more time to create them:

decorative figurines and installations

A modern and popular trend in garden landscape design is the creation of voluminous installations and small decorative figurines from improvised materials, including plastic bottles.

On the branches of berry bushes, on fruit trees or in a flower garden you can "settle" bright bees from plastic bottles. Such a decoration is impossible better fit suburban area on which the apiary is located.

To make one bee you will need:

  • 1 liter bottle with a wide neck;
  • 2 ribbed bottles;
  • wire;
  • 2 white lids;
  • scissors and glue;
  • paints (gouache) and varnish;
  • napkins;
  • a piece of black wire.

Work sequence:

  1. Paste the base of the product (bottle) with napkins, dry it and paint it with gouache in yellow-black color. Open the surface of the craft with varnish - this will save the “bee” from dampness.
  2. Cut out 4 wings from the ribbed base, shaped like leaves.
  3. We form a bee stigma. We glue the eyes (small white covers) and the mouth (a piece of black wire).
  4. We attach the wings to the base, and draw pupils on the eyes.
  5. We make paws from wire, there should be three pairs of them. We fasten the paws to the bottom of the base (under the wings).

You can make a bee swarm using bottles of different sizes.

More time and materials will be required to create a three-dimensional installation in the form of different animals. You need to be patient, because you need to lay out whole containers or parts cut out of them according to a certain pattern.

The playground for children can be decorated with funny animals made of plastic bottles. Such figurines are easy to make and can be made together with the child.

uses for plastic bottle caps

Corks from plastic bottles are also used as landscape design decor.

The most interesting options for using lids:

To create a composition you will have to stock up large quantity covers of different colors, so you need to plan a future craft in advance so that there is time to search for material.

Practical use of plastic bottles

country house and garden gazebo

On a small summer cottage, you can build a house or a garden gazebo, using ordinary plastic bottles filled with sand instead of bricks.

The walls of gazebos, greenhouses and houses are laid out in a checkerboard pattern using cement mortar. When working, you need to take into account some of the nuances:

  • plastic does not come into contact with cement mortar, like a brick, so holes must be made in the container - the cement will interact with the sand inside the bottle;
  • to improve the adhesion of the surface of the bottle with the solution, it is desirable to lay a reinforcing grid between the rows of masonry;
  • in the process of laying, the rows of bottles must be fixed with a rope or wire so that they do not move apart.

Under the influence of frost and heat, plastic is destroyed, so the life of bottle structures is small - about 5-10 years

Garden furniture

Plastic containers are a unique material for creating practical country furniture. You can independently produce traditional or exclusive, avant-garde furniture models.

Plastic bottles can be quickly and easily turned into a neat and comfortable ottoman for the garden.

  1. Empty open bottles should be kept in the cold (in the summer you can put them in the freezer for a while). Even in the cold, close the bottles and bring them into the heat - the air inside the eggplants will heat up, expand and prevent the container from deforming during operation.
  2. connect bottles double sided tape. First in pairs, and then - in the overall composition.
  3. According to the shape of the seat of the ottoman, we cut out thick cardboard and foam rubber, glue it together.
  4. Wrap the ottoman around the perimeter with foam rubber or batting, and attach a soft seat on top.
  5. Sew a cover for an ottoman: cut out the top (circle or square) and a rectangle (the walls of the ottoman) from the fabric, sew together, leaving room for insertion.
  6. Attach the design and sew the cover by hand.

An ottoman made of plastic bottles turns out to be very light and practical, it can be placed in the garden, gazebo or in a country house.

fences and canopies from plastic bottles

You can save a lot on arranging a fence or a carport if you make a structure out of plastic bottles.

The finished canopy will have a plastic structure and an unusual configuration, it will create a protective barrier from the sun and precipitation, and also decorate the garden.

To delay Sun rays the bottom of plastic bottles must be painted

  1. In a plastic container with a red-hot rod, it is necessary to make through holes and thread a fishing line or rope through them. Form several rows in this way.
  2. Between themselves, the rows are connected by perpendicular ties through another pair of holes and material for “firmware” (fishing line, rope, wire).
  3. The "bottle" canopy is attached to a metal or wooden frame.

A wave-like effect can be obtained by attaching a canopy to racks of different lengths.

useful recycled crafts

If the question "What to do with plastic bottles?" remained unresolved, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with useful crafts that will come in handy on any personal plot.

Do not be afraid to experiment and go beyond the usual, and then the most ordinary things will turn into a real work of art.

It would seem that a plastic bottle is such an ordinary thing, but once it was worth its weight in gold - our grandparents carefully folded precious containers on the balcony to use instead of a milk can or a jar for storing compote. Now PVC bottles- a dime a dozen, so humanity thought about it, because soon, because of plastic containers, there will be nowhere to step. How to adapt all this abundance of plastic for the benefit of the business? The most amazing ideas using the cost of food and chemical industry- these are floating islands and huge installations, residential buildings and energy-saving systems created from a lot of unnecessary plastic containers. We invite you to join the global plastic bottle boom. Rate original crafts for a garden from used packaging, which we offer you as an ideological basis for further creativity on the way to creating an amazing and unusual country design.

The burning problem of all summer residents is the laying of a house and ancillary buildings on a garden plot in the conditions of a small area of land allotment and limited funds. In addition, the seasonal purpose of the dacha does not imply the construction of capital buildings "for centuries."

So, the enterprising people decided to adapt a prosaic plastic bottle as a building material. The walls of houses, gazebos, greenhouses, and other garden structures are laid out traditionally - in a checkerboard pattern using cement mortar, only instead of brick, unnecessary plastic containers filled with sand are used.

To maintain this not quite familiar eco-style, you can make a variety of garden bottle crafts so that the design of the site is decided in a unified way. Let's take a closer look at how you can make your life easier and more comfortable with the help of PVC containers.

Country house

Despite the seeming simplicity of building a building from plastic containers, there are some nuances that you need to consider if you decide to build a country house with my own hands. Here are a couple of helpful tips:

  • Lay a reinforcing mesh between the rows of masonry - the adhesion of the solution to the surface of the bottle will improve.
  • Do not forget that plastic does not come into contact with cement, like brick, so make small holes in the container - this way the mortar will begin to interact with the sand inside the bottle and the wall will become stronger.
  • In the process masonry work fix the bottles with a rope or wire so that the rows do not disperse.

Keep in mind that plastic tends to break down under the influence of frost and heat, especially from temperature changes, so be prepared that after some time - 5-10 years, the walls of the building will begin to “countdown”.

Using PVC bottles as a building material, you can build an economy house in the country

The cylindrical shape of plastic bottles allows you to build houses and gazebos, round in plan

Apart from load-bearing structure houses from plastic containers, this versatile building material, as it turned out, can be used for roofing works. We offer you two options for a roof made of used PVC containers:

  1. Plastic tiles. For the manufacture of this simple roofing, it is necessary to compress plastic bottles. If this process is carried out without light heating of the plastic, then the containers will simply crack, so the easiest way is to put the raw material in the sun and then flatten the containers. Installation of PVC modules is carried out with conventional self-tapping screws to the frame with laying the material in several layers. From such tiles, you can easily form a cone-shaped roof for a gazebo or bath.
  2. Plastic slate. It is easy enough to make something like a slate roof covering from the cylindrical part of a plastic bottle. To do this, it is necessary to cut off the bottom and neck from the container, cut the middle part of the container lengthwise and in half, connect the resulting PVC elements with glue, forming a wavy surface.

If you decide to build a house of wood, brick, or there is already a residential building in your summer cottage, pick up a plastic bottle, show your imagination - decorate the facade with an unusual decor made of plastic stoppers. Complex geometric patterns, floral patterns or slightly naive "cartoon" animals - choose for yourself any style that suits your spirit.

From plastic bottles it is quite affordable to make a roof for a summer residence - either in the form of tiles, or in the likeness of slate

Bright plastic lids from used containers will give the facade of a country house an expressive flavor

Decor from bottle caps for the facade country house give the building a personality

Gazebos, greenhouses, pergolas

Most rational use plastic bottles for the garden are not only crafts designed to decorate it, but also more significant things, such as greenhouses or. Why buy expensive polycarbonate for building a greenhouse if the PVC from which the container is made is practically the same material?

Why equip the greenhouse with even more expensive glass than laminate if there are unnecessary bottles? By refracting the sun's rays, PVC packaging performs the same tasks as glass with polycarbonate, moreover, it is the most economical option for the construction of a greenhouse, which can only be found.

An economical option for arranging a gazebo or greenhouse in the country - building from plastic bottles

If you are bored with the traditional rectangular gazebo, make it in the form of a hemisphere using a metal frame and plastic bottles

Having built a frame of wood or metal, arm yourself with a red-hot knitting needle, a drill or a hammer with nails. In one of the ways, make holes in the bottom and cork of a plastic bottle and put plastic vessels on a fishing line or wire, the length of which will be slightly more than the height of the building. Stretch the resulting elements and fix them on the crossbars of the frame - this is how you will form the walls of the greenhouse or gazebo. Additionally, you can fix the vertical modules in the transverse direction by tying the bottles within one row with wire. Using containers of different colors, try to create some kind of ornament - this is how you diversify the colorless mass of walls made of transparent plastic.

What else can be built from plastic bottles for the garden? The most easily erected version of a small architectural form from plastic bottles in the garden is a lightweight gazebo - which usually serves as a frame for climbing plants. However, despite the fact that in spring and summer the structure of the pergola will be hidden by weaving roses or ivy, in winter its frame will be exposed and will not look very good. To avoid similar phenomenon, you can ennoble the design of the pergola with plastic bottles of a natural shade - brown or green. The brownish colors of PVC vaguely resemble wood, and the grassy ones will enliven the appearance of the garden in the cold season.

Fences, railings, gates

A lot of money can be saved if you use plastic bottles to equip the fence of the garden plot. Using the same principle that was described in the construction of the gazebo, instead of corrugated board, chain-link mesh or polycarbonate, use plastic containers to fill the space between the fence posts.

A little creativity and diligence - the border of your garden will become not only impassable, but also extravagant, attracting attention. If the fence has already been erected earlier, a new sound will give it floral decor from plastic bottles - the most natural option for the garden.

In support of summer cottages from plastic bottles, build a fence using the same containers for the integrity of landscape design

Multi-colored flowers cut out of plastic bottles will refresh and decorate old fence or cottage building

carport

The eternal problem of car owners is the allocation of space on the land for parking a car or several vehicles - bicycles, scooters or ATVs. Not always the project of a compact private or country house involves a room for a car, so it becomes necessary to build a detached garage or shed. The construction of these structures is expensive and many cannot afford, so the car is standing under the scorching sun, open to winds, rain and snow. Ordinary plastic bottles come to the rescue in this situation - junk, useless containers that allow you to experiment without fear, without fear of spoiling the building material. If something does not work out and the bottle becomes unusable, you can always take another one and not lose a penny.

Also, material on parking options for a car in the country will be useful:

A canopy for a car made of plastic bottles will not only fulfill its immediate function, but will also bring an original accent to the country landscape

So, from plastic bottles you can form a plastic structure, unusual in its configuration and performing several functions at once - it will create a protective plane from precipitation, the sun and, at the same time, decorate your garden. There is nothing difficult in forming a canopy from bottles - it can very well be done by hand.

First, you need to make through holes in plastic containers, or rather, it is best to burn them with a red-hot rod, and then put the bottles on a fishing line, rope or wire, connecting them in rows. Between themselves, the sequences of bottles are fastened with perpendicular bonds by means of another pair of holes and the previously selected material for “firmware”. Thus, a movable surface is obtained, resembling a “bottle cloth”, which remains to be attached to a metal or wooden frame using hangers of different lengths to create a wave-like effect.

It's important to know! Considering that a plastic bottle is a kind of lens that refracts light like glass, it is advisable to paint over the bottom of the container to block direct sunlight.

Useful devices for the garden

solar collector

Surely you have come across the fact that there is no central water supply in the country house, you did not have time to get a boiler, and after a hard day of caring for the garden, you really want to take no ice shower and wash with warm water. We suggest you try to make a summer shower for your site with energy saving systemsolar collector from PVC bottles. The principle of operation of such water heating is based on the so-called "thermosyphon" - a denser hot water moves up, less dense cold - down. The developer of the system, a Brazilian engineer who received a patent for the invention, claims that 1 m 2 of the solar panel will be enough to bathe 1 person.

From plastic bottles you can assemble a solar panel and forget what ice water is in a summer shower

Cold water coming from the tank to the solar collector is returned already heated

Consumables and tools for making a collector from plastic bottles:

  1. 2-liter plastic bottles - 60 pcs.;
  2. 1-liter milk bags - 50 pcs.;
  3. PVC pipe 100 mm - 70 cm;
  4. PVC pipe 20 mm - 11.7 m;
  5. PVC corner 20 mm - 4 pcs.;
  6. Tee 20 mm PVC - 20 pcs.;
  7. Plugs 20 mm PVC - 2 pcs.;
  8. PVC glue;
  9. Black matte paint;
  10. Brush;
  11. Emery;
  12. Scotch;
  13. Rubber mallet, wood jigsaw.

Plastic bottles need to cut off the bottom and insert one into the other. 100 mm PVC pipes are used to form a rectangular solar panel frame, 20 mm pipes are cut into 10x1 m and 20x8.5 cm sections and assembled into a single structure using tees. One meter long pipes and milk bags are painted with black paint, which are placed under the bottles to improve heat absorption.

Solar panels from plastic bottles should be located at least 30 cm below the water storage tank at south side walls or roofs. To optimize heat absorption, the panels must be installed at an angle which is calculated as follows: to your geographical latitude add 10°. It is recommended to replace plastic bottles in panels with new ones every 5 years, as after a while the plastic becomes opaque, and this reduces its thermal conductivity.

Another energy-saving idea "sailed" to us from hot Brazil called "1 liter of light." The essence of this engineering thought in terms of how to illuminate a room without windows on a sunny day is striking in its simplicity - it is enough to hermetically integrate a plastic bottle into the roof - but not empty, but with water. It is water, refracting the rays of the sun, that will fill the room without natural light with bright light.

By pouring water into a plastic bottle and crashing it into the roof of the house, you will always have a bright source of light in rooms without natural light.

Growing and watering plants

Plastic bottles will be useful in the garden not only for buildings or decor, but also directly in growing plants, flowers and vegetables. By cutting a hole in the container and filling it with earth, you can use a plastic container for growing seedlings. Just don't forget to drill holes in your new pots for drainage and take care of water drainage.

Glue corks to a plastic bottle - you will get funny little men instead of boring pots for growing seedlings

Pots for growing plants can be given a little color by painting them with stained glass paints or decorating with bottle caps. If your dacha is small in size - try to create vertical gardening - hang plastic pots from bottles on a fishing line under the wall. So you decorate a deaf, inexpressive plane and save space.

To create pots for seedlings and flowers, not only plastic bottles for drinks are suitable, but also multi-colored containers left after using household chemicals

Make multiple holes in a plastic bottle - this will allow you to get a drip irrigation device in the country

PVC bottles also come in handy in the process of watering the garden, if you poke miniature holes in the bottom of the bottle and attach the container to the hose, you will have a good tool for drip irrigation. Equipping a home-grown bottle water sprayer with wheels from an old baby car or stroller, you can move the watering machine around the garden.

Garden and home furniture

A lot of trouble for summer residents is the care of furniture in the garden house and on the street - the constant proximity to the ground negatively affects the appearance of sofas, beds and armchairs. Having built country furniture from plastic bottles, you will forget about what a sloppy upholstery is, which is so hard to put in order outside the city, away from service and dry cleaners. The containers and corks themselves are a unique material for the production of furniture with your own hands - durable and easy to clean.

From plastic bottles you can assemble quite practical furniture for the garden and at home.

Chairs and a table for summer cottages made of plastic corks are an economical solution for outdoor furniture

A convenient ottoman for giving will turn out from unnecessary plastic containers wrapped with foam and covered with upholstery fabric

A couple of dozen plastic bottles, a metal frame - and comfortable armchair for the garden and cottage in front of you

garden lamps

Lighting fixtures for the garden plot is another expense column that gardeners often ignore. With a plastic bottle, the lighting problem is solved in a minute. Take a colored canister from household chemicals, cut off the neck and fill the cartridge with a light bulb inside - the dacha lamp is ready. Create a more complex ceiling configuration by deforming plastic bottles by heating, melting the edges and painting in different colors. original lamps containers made of PVC will perfectly replace industrial analogues, as well as decorate both your home and garden plot.

To create an original design for dacha lamps, it is enough to paint them with stained glass paints or deform them a little.

From plastic bottles you can get unusual street lamps for giving - both electric lamps and candles serve as a light source in them

Landscape decor from plastic bottles

When creating garden decorations from plastic bottles, everything is used - the whole container, the bottom and neck, the middle part and cut out fragments, and corks are especially popular. They make a very expressive decor for the garden - paths and decoration of empty planes of the house or fence. Another unforgettable decoration of the site can be installations made of PVC containers - three-dimensional and planar figures of animals and plants. Flower beds and borders limiting planting different types colors, can be successfully made from the same plastic container. And so that your ears are always delighted with the singing of birds, hang feeders and drinkers for birds made with your own hands from PVC bottles on the trees.

Multi-colored corks from plastic bottles serve as an excellent material for creating planar compositions in a country landscape

Examples of flower beds

Without a doubt, the main decoration of a summer cottage is flowers formed into flower beds or growing in a picturesque mess. A special “cutting” of the flower bed is given by low borders that outline its shape and complete the flower arrangement.

In the absence of stone or brick, traditionally used to form a border, bury plastic bottles upside down along the border of the flower bed - you will get a simple fence for flower planting. A good solution for the shady areas of the garden, where nothing wants to grow - original flower beds from PVC containers, various in shape and color.

Arrange with the help of a flower bed made of plastic bottles shady or swampy areas of the garden

garden paths

The issue of laying garden paths is always difficult - and the soil needs to be strengthened, and decorative material buy - as a result, a considerable amount is obtained. And you don't want to walk in the mud. While you are accumulating money and looking at the pavement for the tracks, we offer you a temporary option for arranging them at minimal cost. Fill the paths in the country with a thin layer of cement mortar and immerse plastic bottle caps in it - due to the corrugation along the side plane, they will be well fixed in the building mixture.

A prosaic cement walkway can be turned into a picturesque mural thanks to multi-coloured plastic covers

Decorative installations

A fairly popular direction for decorating a garden landscape is the creation of voluminous installations from various improvised materials, including plastic containers. However, here you need not just some skill and patience, because you need to lay out either whole containers or parts cut out of them according to a certain pattern.

The most expressive decor for a garden landscape is voluminous installations from plastic bottles

We suggest you make a not very complicated installation of plastic bottles in the form of a Christmas tree in the country. Although New Year still far away, as they say, prepare a sleigh in the summer - think about it in advance. Of course, the Christmas tree is the main attribute of the winter holiday, without which it is impossible to create a truly upbeat, New Year's atmosphere. What if your site does not have coniferous trees, and you do not welcome the traditional logging on the eve of the New Year? An excellent solution in its simplicity and environmental friendliness is the creation of a Christmas tree from plastic bottles.

The basis of such a composition is a rigid rod, to which the bottles can be hung or put on a wire and wrapped around, create tiers from circles, tie or install auxiliary supports and form a tent-shaped tree.

It is not necessary to make a Christmas tree from standard green plastic bottles - it can be assembled from containers in any shade

Whole plastic bottles, and bottoms, and chopped parts of the container will be used. The bottles themselves can be deformed, melted, painted in unusual colors - in general, there is room for imagination and ingenuity to roam. bottle caps also do not discount - they will make unusual garlands and miniature decor.

By the way, the Christmas tree does not have to be hidden or dismantled on summer season- if you choose the conical shape of the tree, then inner space designs will serve you on hot days as a gazebo or become a place for children's games. From used green sprite bottles, you can make a miniature Christmas tree for the home, you just need to cut the curved planes of plastic containers with “noodles” and stick them on the base.

Bird feeders and nests

One of the types of garden decor that combines many functions - feeders, nests and drinkers for birds. A feeder made with love will decorate the garden and attract birds - they will repay you for the good with cheerful chirping, destroying garden pests at the same time.

Bird nests and feeders will be a useful decoration for your garden

Decor for a country interior

In addition to garden decor, a plastic bottle is good for creating an extravagant interior design for a country house. Bright panels for walls and furniture, partitions and screens, even curtains - you can do all this yourself from PVC containers. Such decorations for the home look quite original and original, at least you won’t see anything similar in anyone else’s. Putting your soul into decorating a country house, you will enjoy both the creative process and the results of your imagination, combined with skill.

Cutting the bottoms of transparent plastic bottles and connecting them thin wire, you will receive air screens for dividing the space of a country house

Entertainment, recreation, games in the country

Playgrounds

Playgrounds on the land are not only a pleasant thing for organizing leisure time, they are also a certain element of garden decor. Bright swings and slides, mini-golf courses and fabulous houses will create a pleasant atmosphere for a child to stay in the country.

Plastic bottles will help separate the area for children's games, and will also serve as the basis for creating interesting toys.

Equip a field for playing croquet in your country house, and make gates from plastic bottles

Boats and watercraft

Surely there is a river or a lake near your garden plot. If so, then your vacation on the shore of the reservoir will become more exciting if you have a means of transportation on the water. Getting to a deserted island, going on a boat trip or fishing - nothing is easier when there is a boat. You can easily build this simple transport from plastic bottles.

A narrow boat similar to an Indian pirogue with a capacity of 1-2 people or a larger boat for 3-4 passengers - there are a lot of options. The simplest watercraft is a rectangular raft, from which it is convenient to fish, having sailed a little from the shore.

From plastic bottles you get a boat or raft that is quite stable on the water.

To make a boat in the form of a kayak, cut the bottom of the bottles, thread one into the other one after the other and form something like long tubes. Glue the joints with furniture tape - it is wide and will not peel off when in contact with water. From separate tubes, connecting them together, glue the sides and bottom of the boat with the same adhesive tape to get a wedge-shaped shape. Here it is important to correctly calculate the ratio of the width of the vessel and its height - trial launches and a little engineering will help you to turn a mountain of unnecessary containers into a useful thing.

A non-trivial approach to decorating a pond in the country - delicate bottled daisies on the surface of the water

A more complex design for a boat for the whole family, which involves the connection of vertically standing bottles in two rows and additional sealing of the ship's hull with bags. Nothing prevents you from installing a motor on the boat, which will significantly improve its driving performance and range. So, using the unsinkable properties of plastic bottles, from which, by the way, entire islands are built in Japan and Taiwan, you can surf the surrounding water bodies with breeze and comfort.

Haven't you embraced the idea of a plastic boom yet? Do something extraordinary for your garden and you will not have time to look back, as you will immediately join the ranks of admirers of a plastic bottle.

Empty plastic bottles create a lot of inconvenience. You can’t throw them into the trash can, since just two thrown bottles instantly fill it. Many people wonder what can be made from plastic bottles and how they can be usefully used in the household. If you think and show a little imagination, it turns out that almost everything can be made from a plastic bottle, from a feeder to an original garden arbor.
